The “super trees” illuminate the sky of Singapore
They are considered the last attraction that no visitor to Singapore should miss and the pictures that follow demonstrate that one can see them from miles away!
The “Supertrees” are tall as skyscrapers and illuminate the sky over Singapore. Their height reaches fifty meters and they are made of metal, cement and thousands of coarse wires forming their branches.
They are part of the Gardens By The Bay project, a €434m project in the city’s Marina Bay area.
“Supertrees” have solar panels, hanging gardens and rainwater collectors and will be used to expose plants from all over the world.
A great deal of green is planned in the area to make Singapore a “botanical capital of the world“.
When the park is completed it will house “green” greenhouses and will host the Singapore Garden Festival.
Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the gardens via the “walking path” connecting the artificial trees and 22 meters from the ground.
